During the summer, as an alternative to the summer internship, you may choose to integrate an International Lab in China or Brazil, which provides you with a breadth of academic curriculum and a unique learning experience in an overseas environment. 

The International Labs provide an intensive real-world experience, where students from The Lisbon MBA work together with MBA students from Fudan University in Shanghai or Insper in São Paulo.  The student teams collaborate on a 2 month consulting project with a business in China or Brazil to address an issue that the host company seeks to resolve.

Every year, a different host company selects a business project to be developed and analysed and sponsors the initiative. The projects kick off in July and feature an intensive two-week preparation phase in China or Brazil. The teams will then work virtually during the implementation phase which involves research, data and analysis and development of proposals. The last two weeks in August the teams meet in Lisbon and formally present their conclusions to the company's senior management.   

You will learn the true dynamics of these countries and economies through direct experience and leverage your business skills while learning with each other. 

The International Labs were launched with the aim of:
