Is The Lisbon MBA International Program compatible with a full-time job?
No. The International Program requires a greater time commitment that is not compatible with a job. However, the Part Time Program is specifically designed for full-time professionals interested in studying on a more flexible schedule.

What is the day-to-day schedule like at The Lisbon MBA International Program?
From Mondays through Fridays, classes begin at 9:30am. The afternoon schedule varies according to your courses and team meetings. The Friday Forum workshops can last into the early evening.

Are all classes taught in English?
Yes. Lectures, workshops, activities, and projects are all conducted in English.

Are the MIT immersion and the summer action learning period mandatory?
Yes. The MIT immersion period in June is mandatory for all the students of The Lisbon MBA International. During July and August students can choose one of three options: internship, international lab or entrepreneurship hub.

Is there an age limit for students?
There is no age limit for students. The average age of students in the Class of 2012 is 31 years old.

How does the admissions process work?
Candidates can apply for The Lisbon MBA International Program at any time up until the application deadline of September 30th, 2011. Our rolling admissions process encompasses four steps:
1. Application Form Submission
2. Application Analysis
3. Personal Interviews
4. Notification of Acceptance or Non-AdmissionIf there's a fit, competitive candidates are invited to interviews within 1-3 weeks of submitting their completed application.

Do I have to take the GMAT or GRE?
Yes, the GMAT or GRE is required. Although we do not require a minimum GMAT or GRE score, as we use a multi-criteria selection during the admissions process, the GMAT score range of the Class of 2011 was 530-760.

Do I have to take an English language proficiency exam?
If your mother tongue is not English, then you must submit an English language proficiency exam score. The TOEFL, IELTS, CAE and CPE are equally valid options for fulfilling this requirement. If your mother tongue is English or you've taken your degree in an English speaking country, then you do not have to submit this score.

What is the cost of attending The Lisbon MBA International Program?
Tuition – including courses, cases, other materials, and the cost of your stay at MIT – amounts to €33,000. Students are responsible for their housing and living expenses while in Lisbon.

Are there any options available for financing the MBA?
Yes. The Lisbon MBA has established agreements with Portuguese banks to help students obtain loans with special conditions. In addition, a limited number of scholarships are available. You may also be eligible for corporate sponsorship from your current company.
