Is The Lisbon MBA International Full Time compatible with a full-time job?

No, The Lisbon MBA International Full Time program requires a time commitment that is not compatible with a professional activity, even if undertaken in part-time. If you wish to take your MBA while working, The Lisbon MBA Executive program is specifically designed for full-time professionals interested in studying on a more flexible schedule.

How is the year structured?

The year is structured into 4 main blocks: January to May - Core Courses; June - MIT Immersion; July to August - Action Learning; September to December - Elective Courses.

What is the day-to-day schedule like at The Lisbon MBA International Full Time?

From Monday to Thursdays, classes begin at 9:30 AM. The afternoon schedule varies according to your courses and team meetings. Fridays are mostly dedicated to Friday Forum workshops, which start early in the morning and may finish in the evening.

Are the MIT Immersion and the Action Learning activities mandatory?

Yes. The MIT Immersion period in June is mandatory for all the students of The Lisbon MBA International Full Time. During July and August, students need to choose one of three options: Summer Project, International Lab or Entrepreneurship Hub.

Are all classes taught in English?

Yes, lectures, workshops, activities, and projects are all conducted in English.

How does the admissions process work?

In The Lisbon MBA, we have a continuous admission process, which means that we receive applications throughout the year. Firstly, you need to submit your online application, making sure you meet all the requirements and have all the necessary documents. Then, we will review your application within 1 or 2 weeks and you can either be called for an interview or be deemed unfit for the program. After this eventual interview, you'll be given feedback about your admission (or non-admission) in approximately 1 week.

Do I have to take the GMAT or GRE?

Yes, you must present the GMAT or GRE to be eligible for The Lisbon MBA International Full Time program.

Do I have to take an English language proficiency exam?

One of our admission requirements is the English Proficiency Proof, which can be given by TOEFL/IELTS Academic/CAE/CPE/PTE Academic. However, you can be waived if you are a national of an official English speaking country and have lived there for the past 10 years, present a full university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) where all courses were taught exclusively in English or if you worked full-time in an English-speaking country for at least 1 and ½ years.

What is the cost of attending The Lisbon MBA International Full Time?

The tuition fees – including courses, cases, flights and accommodation at the MIT – amount to €36,000. Fees do not include accommodation in Lisbon nor living expenses and visas.

Are there any options available for financing the MBA?

Yes. Students can apply for The Lisbon MBA Loan, currently offered by CGD. In addition, a limited number of scholarships are available. You may also be eligible for corporate sponsorship from your current company.
