To be eligible for The Lisbon MBA International Full Time program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Integrated Master in any area
- At least 3 years of professional experience full-time
- GMAT or GRE
- English Proficiency Proof
Step-by-Step: What is required to submit your MBA Application
Completing The Lisbon MBA International Full Time application will require time and effort on your part. Plan ahead to make sure your application is are complete by the deadline.
1. Online Application Form:
Candidates must fill out the online form, including four written essays and one video essay.
2. Updated CV in English:
Whatever the template you use, please be aware that your CV shouldn’t have more than 2 pages.
3. Two Referees:
Candidates must provide contact information of two different people who know them well in a professional context, preferably line managers or customers and suppliers. (avoid asking family members or colleagues/friends/professors).
The reference request process will be done through the online application form. After filling in the referees’ data, applicants need to click on the “send reference request” button and the referees will receive an e-mail with a link to a brief survey.
Be aware that you won’t be able to submit your application without the referees’ answers. Please do not submit letters of recommendation separately, as they will not be considered.
4. University Transcripts:
The official transcripts issued by the academic institution where you received your bachelor’s degree must be uploaded in the online application form and should mention the degree awarded, the average score and the course conclusion date, as well as be duly signed and stamped.
5. GMAT or GRE:
Candidates must submit a score for the GMAT (the Graduate Management Admissions Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Examinations). These exams are important tests in the admission process as they assess the applicants’ analytical ability, reasoning skills and aptitude to academically thrive during the MBA. If you wish us to automatically receive your test score, please choose The Lisbon MBA program from Católica-Lisbon or Nova SBE on the day of the test (you are required to choose one of the schools, even though this is a joint program).

6. English Language Test:
Candidates for whom English is not their native language must submit a standardized English Language Test score

Note: For TOEIC, you need to submit score results for all parts: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.
If you are requested a code to send us your score please take note:
(the IELTS does not have a code)
– be national of an officially English-speaking country and have lived there for the past 10 years;
– present a full university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) during which all courses were taught exclusively in English;
– worked full-time in an English-speaking country for at least 1 year.
If you believe you should be waived for any other reason not specified above, please submit this waiver request form and we will give you feedback in approximately two weeks.
Please note that your English communication skills will be assessed during the interview and throughout the entire admission process. We reserve the right to request an English test to be taken at any time.

7. Application fee:
An application fee of 90€ (180€ on the 2nd round) is required in order to submit your application and should be paid via Paypal.
