Program Affairs Specialist

The Lisbon MBA is a joint effort from two top Bussiness Schools in Portugal – Católica-Lisbon and Nova SBE. It currently comprises a part-time and a full-time MBA program. The vast experience of both business schools in delivering successful MBA programs and the unique curriculum and positioning for these programs provide the opportunity of being part of a truly innovative endeavor.

The Program Affairs Specialist assists in carrying out an array of tasks related to the MBA Programs daily management.

Duties and Job Responsibilities:
Organizes and coordinate events and trips,
Collects, processes and analyzes data to prepare reports and documents,
Interacts with internal partners (faculty, students, schools, other departments) and external partners (patrons, sponsors, corporations),
Responds to written, telephone and personal inquiries for any information regarding MBA classes or other events within the MBA Program.
Manages registrations for class terms or events related to the Programs.
Assists Faculty in gathering information for MBA courses as well as making it available for students at all times.
Keeps informed regarding changes in policies, procedures and criteria governing MBA Programs.
Updates MBA IT Platforms as required (portals, databases, surveys)
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:
We value previous experience as Personal/Executive Assistant or strong all-around experience in administrative roles;
Previous experience in the educational sector is valuable

Aptitudes and Skills:
Excellent English, both written and spoken, is mandatory;
Ability to communicate in an effective way;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Excellent planning and organizing skills;
Ability to set priorities and respond to various requests at the same time;
Ability to comply with deadlines;
Be able to work well under pressure;
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment;
Ability to analyze and solve problems;
Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Other:
Availability to work evenings and Saturdays according to a rotational schedule.
