Enriching MBA experience
Experience at Lisbon MBA has been one of the greatest experiences I've had and truly one of the most cherishable moments for me to treasure.Lisbon MBA has taken me to two of the most beautiful cities in the world- Lisbon and Boston. It's one of the most holistic MBA programs one can find at present. It has got it all! Yes, I mean it-because I've experienced it ...in fact I am experiencing it!
From typical MBA modules to most advance courses - it has all.I've studied Uncertainity & Decision, Economics, Corporate Finance, Brand Management, People & Organisation, Strategy as part of around 25 modules that I will complete by December. Each course is unique in itself - providing a detailed insight into the various issues and matter of relevance in today's times along the Real Business working experience through multiple Harvard cases to onfield projects that require actual visit to companies, talking with customers, taking surveys and proposing solutions to the the Company Managements.
Friday Forum adds a very unique dimension to this MBA program that allows us students to push our boundaries not only from intellectual and analytical perspective but also in creative, behavioural and emotional domains of oneself. Without revealing much all I can say is that I've worn different colored hats, stepped into shoes of others, sang, recorded, edited videos, created advertisement, acted and learnt - not to block and always improvise.
It's a 12 month action packed program that is teaching me - "how to remain always on your toes for any eventuality" and have "multiple action plans for different uncertain scenarios ". The program includes 2 months of Internship and a special month long MIT Sloan Immersioon program in Boston.
I am currently undergoing this Immersion program and all I can say at this point is - "Nothing can be better than this".
MBA is not only about Finance and General Management, it is also more about understanding International Markets, understanding Internatinal Laws, Politics, Social aspects, countries, cultures - giving a more important macro perspective of things from various stake holders' perspectives. It is this what I am learning and gaining from MIT Immersion program (More on it - very soon- once I complete it ).
Stay tuned !
